Product Overview
The Thrustmaster TPR Pendular Rudder is a set of professional-grade rudder pedals using a pendular suspension mechanism rather than the floor-slide mechanism of most consumer rudder pedal sets. The pendular design suspends the pedal arms from an overhead pivot point, so the pedal faces swing through an arc rather than sliding forward and backward. This more closely replicates the pedal geometry of aircraft rudder pedal installations in many aircraft types.
The TPR provides independent toe brake axes on both pedals, full rudder yaw axis, and adjustable pedal tension and centering resistance. The metal and composite construction handles the forces of aggressive rudder input in combat and aerobatic simulation. The unit connects via USB and presents as an HID device compatible with all major flight simulation platforms.
The TPR is one of the highest-specification rudder pedal sets in the consumer simulation market. The pendular mechanism adds mechanical complexity compared to floor-slide pedals, which results in a higher price point. Pedal spacing and center resistance are user-adjustable. The unit is used in DCS World, MSFS, X-Plane, and space simulation where rudder axis control is required.
