Product Overview
The Sim-Lab XB1 is a loadcell handbrake from Sim-Lab, providing an analog handbrake axis for sim racing use. The handbrake lever actuates a loadcell force sensor, producing an input signal proportional to the force applied to the lever throughout its travel range. This force-sensitive design allows modulation of the handbrake application intensity, which is particularly useful in drift and rally simulation where partially engaging the handbrake is a common technique. The XB1 body is machined from aluminum. PC connection is via USB as a standard HID controller requiring no drivers. The mounting system uses a standard bolt pattern compatible with Sim-Lab cockpit side rail profiles and most third-party handbrake mounting brackets. The handbrake axis can be assigned to any secondary axis input in sim racing software, and it is compatible with all titles that support a configurable analog handbrake input.
