GNS430

The Real Sim Gear GNS430 is a physical replica of the Garmin GNS 430 GPS navigator as fitted to a wide range of general aviation aircraft. The replica replicates the front panel controls of the GNS 430 including the large and small dual concentric outer and inner knobs, the twelve function keys, the CDI/OBS button, and the D-Bar and MENU keys. It interfaces with flight simulation software to control the GNS 430 GPS simulation in real time.

The unit connects to the simulation PC via USB. Inputs on the physical panel — knob turns, button presses — translate directly to the corresponding GNS 430 functions in the simulation. Compatible with X-Plane and Microsoft Flight Simulator with the appropriate GNS 430 simulation add-on. The GNS430 module is designed for desktop or panel mounting in a home cockpit build.

Manufactured by Real Sim Gear in Canada for simulation use only. The unit does not include a display; it is a control bezel replica intended for use alongside a simulation monitor. Dimensions and mounting provisions are in the Real Sim Gear product documentation. See also the GNS530 for the 530-series equivalent.
