MTS Wheel

The MTS Wheel is the steering wheel mounting assembly within the MTS modular simulator system, enabling the MTS frame to be configured for automotive or racing simulation use. The wheel mount attaches to the MTS Base Frame at the standard front upright position, accepting wheelbase mounting patterns from Fanatec, Thrustmaster, and Simucube. The mounting plate provides a rigid connection point for belt-drive and direct-drive wheelbases, resisting the torque reaction forces generated during force feedback operation. Height and angle adjustment allows the wheel to be positioned at an ergonomically correct driving position relative to the seat. The MTS Wheel mount enables users to convert the MTS modular frame from a flight simulation configuration to a racing simulation configuration without permanently reconfiguring the base frame, supporting the system's multi-discipline design intent.
